The Back Bay is one of the city’s most sought-after addresses. The mix of high rises, brownstones and townhouses that line the Parisian-like boulevards make the neighborhood unique. High ceilings, handsome woodwork, and bright bay windows that offer interesting panoramas, predominate. Here a sense of the past blends with the convenience and accommodations of today. Beacon Street stretches from the State House through Beacon Hill and on to Back Bay. Residents on North side of Beacon Street enjoy panoramic views of the Charles River, the world famous Fourth of July fireworks on the Esplanade with the Boston pops. Marlborough Street is one of the most impressive addresses with its brick side walks and tree lined street. Commonwealth Avenue is a boulevard of grand scale – with the Mall running through the middle of the street from the foot of the Public Garden up to Kenmore Square. The Hynes Convention Center is located on Boylston Street in Back Bay.
