Established in 1991 by Saul B. Cohen and Joseph Hare, Hammond is recognized as one of Greater Boston's premier real estate companies. The firm has fifteen offices – four are situated in Boston and eleven are within commuting distance of the city. From these locations Hammond serves Boston and 87 neighboring suburban communities. The firm is represented by over 400 agents and an administrative staff of 65 people. The firm's Cambridge and Belmont offices were founded by Tod Beaty and are independently owned.
In addition to residential brokerage, Hammond has a Rental Group, Commercial Real Estate, Property Management, REO Department, a Publications Department, and a Relocation Department.
