I bring an architect’s eye to residential real estate. Since 2003, I have negotiated over $850 Million in real estate transactions, and I am consistently one of the top 1% of Hammond Realtors in the Boston area.
As a classically trained architect (M.Arch, University of Utah), I understand building design and issues, can interpret inspection results, and advise on your renovation ideas. This allows me to better negotiate undervalued investments for buyers and maximize returns for sellers.
In my role as a Hammond Realtor, I serve the entire Boston Metro-West area, including Newton, Brookline, Cambridge, Belmont, Jamaica Plain, Brighton, Watertown, Waltham, Somerville, and Arlington and am one of the premier Realtors for the LGBTQ community. I handle all kinds of residential properties, from condominiums to single-family and multi-family homes.
Additionally, I have been a real estate investor for over two decades and maintain a portfolio of Boston-area residential and commercial properties. I manage all aspects of the business personally, including leasing, marketing, design, building, and contracting.
I combine my architectural expertise with negotiating skills that I first honed while working for the US Army Corps of Engineers and NATO in Europe. There I managed major international infrastructure projects during the exciting years that followed the fall of the Berlin Wall. Having negotiated multi-million dollar contracts with foreign governments, I know how to find accord among buyers and sellers in the residential housing market.
In addition to my graduate degree, I hold a B.A. in Urban Planning and Economic Development from the University of Maryland. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, building furniture with reclaimed wood, watching Patriots and Steelers games, skiing with the kids, cooking for friends and family, and drinking amazing wines.
